SeeSee Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026

SeeSee is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and we never sell data.

What stays on your device

Camera images are processed on your device. Your scan history is stored locally on your device. If you enable location features, your location is used and stored only on your device.

What reaches our server

When you use an AI feature with Claude selected as the provider, the recognized text and the photo being processed are sent to our server and forwarded to Anthropic (Claude) to generate the result. We do not store your images or text on the server; they are processed and passed through.

The app identifies itself with an anonymous, randomly generated device identifier used to enforce fair daily usage limits and, if you use settings sync, to store the app settings you choose. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any account.

Third parties

AI requests are processed by Anthropic (Claude) under their privacy policy. Our server runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States.

Your choices

You can use SeeSee without its cloud AI features; on-device processing works without sending anything to us. Deleting the app deletes your local history and settings.
